Join our ADW team!

  • Would you like some regular help with care for your dog?

  • Do you want the absolute best for them but struggle to meet all their needs while juggling all your other plates?

  • Do you need some time to do other things but want to know your dog is having fun and being cared for at the same time?

  • Maybe the thought of trusting others with your dog's care worries you?

  • Does all this make you feel anxious and guilty?

Please don't worry anymore because our premium ADW Team services are designed to help you meet your dog's needs by providing outstanding care for your dog.  We've created a number of experiences for your dog using our tried and tested approach, delivered by our experienced and qualified team to ensure that they return home feeling content, relaxed and fulfilled.

We specialise in providing peace of mind for you and a great time for your dog in a first class caring and friendly environment.

What makes us different?

  • We don't just walk your dog, we take them on adventures!

  • Guaranteed small group sizes for increased care, attention and welfare- we aim for no more than 4 dogs per Canine Carer.

  • Your dog's regular session will enable them to get to know us and other team members really well, ensuring they're happy and relaxed.

  • It's all in the detail - we specialise in providing every creature comfort imaginable (read more below).

  • As an ADW client, you enjoy discounted rates, early notification of offers, regular updates, a quarterly Doggy Digest, and exclusive Team ADW services and themed events.

  • As the guardian of a team member you’ll be the first to know of anything new and exciting we’re planning and have priority booking.

Is my dog suitable?

Your dog should be comfortable around other dogs and people as we walk in small groups out on our local trails.  If they don't have good recall, they should be able to walk well on lead (and we use longlines to provide extra freedom).

For younger dogs (under 1 year of age), ask us about our ‘getting to know you’ programme.

How do I join?

Read about our services in more detail below - and then complete a Contact Form or send us an email outlining what you require.

We will arrange a free assessment with your dog and meeting with you to discuss further and, if your dog is suitable, they will have a team introduction and complete a probationary period to help them to settle in.

Our Services

Weekdays, 45 minutes

Did you know that 20 minutes of sniffing tires your dog out as much as an hour's walk?

Our lunchtime Sniffiaris focus on using your dog's super sense of smell to provide them with a truly enriching experience.
Travelling at your dog's pace, we explore our local trails, allowing plenty of time to check out the smells and play some scent-based games along the way!
Small group sizes are guaranteed, making Sniffaris an excellent option for younger and older dogs and for those who need to build up their confidence or get used to mixing with other dogs in a friendly, calm environment.

Pick up, clean and drop off is included.

Monday - Friday

(mornings and afternoons)

We don’t just walk your dog, we specialise in providing adventures for our doggy team in this stunning local area!

We visit a variety of locations so the team experience different environments and we’re spoilt for choice with forests, woods, crags, tarns, lakes and fells all on our doorstep! We use nature’s agility course to have some fun with wild agility while out on the trails and to help the team to use different muscle groups after a good warm up.  There’s often the opportunity to swim for our water lovers too.

Every adventure provides the team with the thrill of using their super-sense of smell -  not just through giving them the time to explore their environment but also by playing sniffing games along the way.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also regularly practise skills on our adventures to help ensure the team are focussed on us and well mannered around others. We’re experienced in creating a positive, calm and relaxed environment for all our team to feel comfortable and to thrive.

On our return to the van, the dogs enjoy fresh water, a clean and dry off and full check over (for things like ticks, grass seeds etc.); in wet and cold weather we rug them up in fleecy coats.

So, as you can see, we’re not like other dog walkers!  We have developed this winning combination over time as it provides our doggy team members with enriching, balanced and safe adventures.  Our team return home feeling fulfilled both physically and mentally - they’re content and calm and ready to relax.

Pick up and drop off is included in this service in one of our fully converted vans for safety and security.

DIAMOND DAY CARE (currently fully booked)

Monday - Thursday

Our Diamond Dog Day Care service allows you to go to work or have a day out safe in the knowledge that your dog is having fun and being cared for well.

We focus on ensuring all dogs in our care are able to enjoy themselves while feeling safe, secure and comfortable in their environment. We specialise in providing a well balanced day for our day care team which includes physical exercise, mental stimulation, enrichment and time for quiet rest.

Your dog will enjoy an Adventure Trek and a Sniffari during their day (this can be adapted for those with superdog levels of energy or those of a more sedate nature).

There is also ample time for rest, relaxation and brain games in our comfortable home (which is licensed by South Lakeland District Council with a five star rating) and the team receive a healthy snack at lunchtime.

Pick up and drop off is included and dogs are transported in one of our fully converted, safe and secure vehicles. Your dog will be returned clean and content at the end of the day, ready to relax with you in the evening.

Diamond Day Care dogs should be over 1 year of age and males should be neutered / chemically castrated.

Evenings and Weekends

For members of our doggy team we offer discounted rates on our Deluxe Dog Sitting Service.

If you have somewhere to be in the evening or at the weekend and require dog care, we can come to you and provide one-to-one care for our canine friend in the comfort of their own home - or they can stay with us in our licensed, 5 star rated home!

If your dog doesn’t enjoy being home alone or if you’re going to be out for several hours, this service is perfect!  You can enjoy your time away knowing they are being cared for well.

Selected Saturdays throughout the year, approx 4 hours

Jasper’s Jaunts are adventures, available exclusively for team members, where we travel a little further afield to explore some different environments, quite often the beach, as we all love it, but also fells in other parts of The Lakes and Dales.

Your dog will be picked up early and returned to you clean and happy after a morning of fun activities and adventures.

They will enjoy all the usual creature comforts our team members can expect from us, with a lunchtime treat and surprises thrown in too to make the day extra special!

Numbers are limited on our Jasper’s Jaunts and dates are announced to clients through your monthly updates.

We service the following towns and villages and everywhere in between!

Windermere & Bowness

If you live outside this area please get in touch as we may be able to help; there will be a small surcharge to cover transport costs.
